| I used to drive a F650 with a 26' box and liftgate. It was tagged for 26000 and empty but full of fuel weighed 14500. You didn't need a CDL because it didn't have air brakes. Just needed an F endorsement because it was commercial. The last straight truck I drove was a cabover Isuzu. Gvw 14500 tagged for 16000. You needed a CDL for it though because of a mounted 190gal liquid oxygen tank. (Hazmat) The other drivers didn't even have F endorcements because they didn't have to haul over 1000lbs of oxygen. |

| usually up to 33,000 gvwr but depends on the model. Some of them are rated 26,000 or less to be under the cdl limit. |
