Leftovers from the house like stew or lasagna, soups, even did a meatloaf once.... Just kept what I wanted to cook in the food cooler, dropped it into a disposable pan about 1 hr prior to dinner stop (soups 30 min). Hot dogs and pork and beans were personal favorites. Nice and hot dinner when I parked. Since the truck was rolling, no battery issues. It even worked well while running opti-idle.

About once a week, I'd grab a T/S dinner and every 2-3 days grab a big salad from a costco food court. My weakness was the mondo truckers breakfasts from the T/S. That's where I'd start gaining weight!

Before I burned out 3 of them POS I would put acouple inch's of water
in the pan and use it as a steamer most times.
Cans of soup,Dinty Moore entrées and hot dogs with chili.

Now its back to the good Ole Microwave
I still carry a gas grill for the "good~times gang" :biggrin_25524:

Oh! That was the other thing. I was thinking of a camp stove, but would I have to be worried about carrying the fuel for it? I would check with the company to see if they discourage it, but is it against FMCSR?

    Other Regulated Materials - Domestic

    I just Wiki'd it, because I didn't know either. :) I love the internet!!

So a couple cans of Coleman fuel is ok, so long as you don't have your whole sleeper stocked with it?

Thanks for the info Fried Tater.
