    It's good enough to browse non flash content, but not good enough to stream media.

    One of the things I do to get the most out of truck stop internet is to use 2 separate browsers, depending on where I am. If I'm in a area where I get poor 2/3g reception, or in a crowded truck stop, I use firefox. I've installed no-script, which pretty much blocks out all of the flash, video, ect. For example, it's only allows the most basic part of a web page, to come through, which saves a lot of time, and takes less of a connection. It takes a little bit of time to set up noscript for the websites you go to the most, but when you do, you have a #### load of data from your internet service provider, and gets faster speeds. If you're one of the people that only have 5 gb's of data a month, then you'll love no-script. it'll feel like you have 15 gb's instead of 5. You'd be amazed at how much data you save by not allowing a website to show you an advertisement, picture, or video. Especially if you're just reading the news, or something like that.

    1. Install Firefox web browser
    2. Google "firefox extensions", or search "no-script"
    http://noscript.net/

    If I'm in a big city with 4g reception, or a truck stop that isn't crowded, I use Google Chrome. It's a lightweight browser, yet I don't block anything. from coming through.

    There is a similiar extension for Chrome, but it's not nearly as good.

    Question;

    I have a Verizon 4g phone that has the option to link wireless via USB to my laptop...I have not tested this yet, but any idea how well this works? Also I plan to stream videos (Hulu) and other TV crap...how much will that eat up my 4gig/month limit?
