Shoes for comfortable OTR trucking

I have a pair of soft leather work boots, extra tall for good ankle support. I believe they are Georgia Boots brand. No foot or ankle pain wearing these babies all day and night.

 

I usually wear either stilettos or platform high heels. The ones that light up as you walk are good late at night. I don't recommend you guys try this as you're liable to twist your ankle as you're walking and that's no fun.

Also years of turning wrenches I have found a company called redback boots. No foot or back pain. I wear them everyday.

Per this article, it is illegal to drive barefoot in all states except for Alabam, California, and Ohio.

I was born in Cowboy boots so to me they are comfortable and have no problems with them. I tried other shoes when I started driving thinking they would be better but they were not. Stick with the shoes you are used to and they will be the best for you.

 

I wear 5.11 tactical from the police uniform store. They are designed specifically for police officers. To a great or lesser extent day to day we do the same exact thing. They are the longest lasting most confortable footwear Ive ever worn. The grip on piss poor pavement is great even when holding up a 900 pound Harley.

Yeah my thoughts as well, although i thought in some places its against the law to drive bare foot
