| Yes, Gordon has a Midwest fleet. I'm looking to get in when I finish school. So far I hear mostly good things about Gordon... |

Congrats! Keep me posted. I've been in contact with Rick and will start the pre-hire process when I start training at Fox Valley. |

They do have a preliminary driving test, mostly to see if you can drive and not hit curbs! My trainer/finisher called me Wednesday night to set up where and when he would pick me up. Very nice guy, lot's of experience that I hope rubs off on me. Can't wait to get going! |

| Thanks for the tip everyone who posted! I live in Riverside Co between LA & San Diego, would Gordon work for me as a job prospect after trucking school? |

| Yes, Gordon does have runs in and out of the midwest. They opened a terminal in Green Bay, WI. Gordon is primarily a western states carrier, but are expanding slowly outward mainly due to customer request. I have been with them a little over a year now, and I can say that they have treated me well. I worked many years for a private fleet hauling new furniture and when the company closed down the factory in my area, I sadly had to look for a new gig. I was apprehensive about going to a truckload carrier again, but I have to say Gordon is far superior to a vast majority of big trucking outfits. Many loads stay in the western states, but I have had some good long hauls to NY, MO, TN, IN, IL, OH, and Canada. They are excellent about getting you home as well, and almost always on time. Good luck to you. |

| Gordon has a reefer and dry divison. I work in the reefer divison and they will run. The only time I sit for 24 or more hours is when I'm doing the 34 restart or hometime. I also had a d&ht urn into a live load , but that happen with any carrier.
