| HOT FOOT? Heres an odd ball question.In an 18 wheeler,do your shoes get hot from powertrain heat like in a car?More heat or less?Just wondering.Its an uncomfortable thing for me while driving for long periods in my SUV.Might be a problem.Thanks Last edited by strongworx; 01.14.2007 at 10.00 PM.. | Sorry,I meant 18 wheelers.I wonder if they are anything like cars cuz,if so,im gonna need to make some adjustments.Gotta little problem with the ol` stinkfoot!ha! |

| Your problem just about has to be a heater vent up under the dash. there is no way that any of the drive components could be putting heat up in that area. Might you have a big hole in the front cowl and firewall? Cover the vents and stuff a rag in any holes....should solve your problem

also, even with the heater blower moter turned off, there is constant circulation as you drive down the road, letting that air from the floor vents to hit you. sometimes the heater ducts on the drivers side are tucked way up into the dashboard, amking it next to impossible to get at and re-direct the ducting to another area. you're lucky you ain't driving a cabover.....talk about heat then....... |

| You could just keep you vent on "recirc". Then you don't have the air coming in from outside while you are driving.
