Actually both are trucking movies and both have Meatloaf as the bad guy. In one he is a phyco driver kidnapping helpless girls and the other a drug running company owner. I have both on DVD.

I like them for entertainment. I think the funest part of a trucking movie is watching for the flaws. Like the final sean in Blacktop when the airlines in the trailer are cut and this makes it so the brakes will not work instead of locking up right away.

I stand corrected. I went to the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB which I have had bookmarked for years) and looked it up. Looks like it had a pretty small release, but the film was there, a year or two after Black Dog.
