CH Robinson

A question for all of the new and experienced truckers out there. Have you ever hauled for CH Robinson? Why or why not?

How often do you use them? Why? Do you use them for headhauls, backhauls, becuase they pay quickly or what?

Thanks in advance for your help,

C

My former company hauled some loads as back-hauls for them, I was told that they didn't pay as much but they always paid. I hated the loads, for the most part they were poorly set up and impossible to deliver legally on time, and the shorter the haul, the more impossible it was. There are different CH Robinson offices around the country, my worst experiences were out of Schaumburg, IL. Probably the best was Cedar rapids IA but only hauled a few of those.

Getting stiffed for a load hauled would be even cheaper freight than doing a low pay job.

hauled alot of loads in the past, guys in miami name of moe, really great guy,got good loads off them after I picked 6 picks on a friday for them, they always took good care of me. Never dealt with them on my own trucks but plenty of backhauls up to date. I believe different rates for different companies, when they need it. never had a problem legally though with them.

We use them alot for backhauls. Freight could be anything from Coco Cola or the the load I just deliver for them, packaged top soil. Never had a problem with them, seemed to be nice everytime Ive called for info. They are not the only ones we use, but we do use them alot.

I get a lot of deliveries for them. It's always good freight, not oversize, hard to handle junk. I also get a lot of work from Unishippers, QWE Logistics, and some others.

That authorized deal doesn't sound right,in the past when I worked for a shady company,I asked them ,CH Robinson for a comchek number and they paid me directly 100 or more so I didn't have to worry about getting my money, all you need to do is call and register the chk and numbers and then you will know its good.
