Instead of wanting to know what company would fire a driver for a wreck how about DON'T DO IT BECAUSE OF YOUR OWN SAFETY????????????? Seriously. And inform all your drafting friends that the few cents you save in gas isn't worth your life or being handicapped the rest of your life from a bad wreck.

Looking good. Post a pic of the Transcraft DOT bar. Drafters could crash and burn on that one or even die and you would never feel it in the cab.

| Keep in mind too....if your drafting that truck has 18 wheels on it, you have a windshield that's how big? One of those wheels can kick up a rock so hard your windshield is history, not only that, if they have a blow out and rubber starts flying - How much can your vehicle with stand? People who draft are the first ones to call a company about a ding in their windshield, my husband had that happen on the highway one time. A man was drafting and a rock flew up and dinged his windshield, he started blowing the horn, flashing his lights and my husband thought he was going nuts! Luckily though, the guy did all this as they were passing a state patrol - the statey pulled out flashed for them both to pull over and checked everything out. The guy was p####d, the cop told him that he saw him drafting and he wasn't going to do anything about it, he got right in the guys face and "suggested" that he not do anything about it either and to stay off trucks butt! So, if you like your vehicle with no dings - I'd suggest staying back! |
