I have no idea why but whenever I hear, "Evil Kineval" I giggle like a kid. It's so funny.

Try programming for a couple of years 7 days a week, 12 hours a day....you know it's time to quit when you automatically "think" in code when someone ask you a question that needs a response.

And you have to "rethink" the response...cuz what you were about to say..was gonna sound like a mental meltdown.

Haha, was sunflower your handle ?

Hey its better than what I picked up at the local TS. I always bought these little cakes called "Puddin Cakes". The girls there started calling me "puddin"... which led to drivers calling me "puddin" on the radio... I'm glad all of that fizzled out.

I bet he drove for Sunflower (now Shaffer).

Yeah, I still get strange looks when I talk to my driver buds on the phone, and use trucker lingo, it confuses my boys. Although the term 'Polar Bear' (OH state trooper, FYI) still makes them laugh.

Malfunction Junction is one that gets me laughing everytime, most recently heard this applied to I-75 thru Dayton,OH.

Some clarifications :

Polar bear def; Trooper in a plain white (unmarked) wrapper.

Full grown bear def ; trooper in a marked (I.D.'ed) wrapper.

County mountie def ; Sheriff's deputy. **

Local yokel , local, city kitty, def ; Municipal Police Dept. **

** ____heads teaching ____heads taught (wrongfully) all cops are bears.

The zipper is the narrow rumble strip on one or both sides of the road. (looks like a zipper.)

Many ____heads think the slashed lane divider lines are the "zipper" (wrongfully.)
