| Diesel Weasel, that's awesome! If toll booths weren't already reffered to as 'Cash Boxes', we should probably call the 'diesel bears' that. Everytime I see one with a truck pulled over, I can practically hear a cash register going 'cha-ching'.  |

| I started otr in the late eighties pulling refers, solo, coast to coast. National speed limit 55 MPH....truck maxed out at 60 MPH.....almost totally exhausted by the time I left Ca. and got to the Boston Market (Chelsea.) After unloading, trucks parked at a nearby shopping center parking lot....you could count on the DOT to check your brakes nearly every time you went in there.....I quickly learned to keep my brakes up at all times....(had manual slack adjusters back then.)....you can bet they generated beaucoup revenue. |
