Angry dirty trick??

On 11-14-07,I95 north,Maryland,I slowed down to allow an 18 wheel truck with box trailer to enter the highway in front of me as there was a vehicle in the lane to the left of me.There was a hose hanging from the rear of the trailer in back of the left mudflap. When the truck got in front of me a red substance spilled from the hose and made a mess on the front of my 2002 Ford conversion van.I had to clean the windshield at the nearest rest area. Can someone kindly inform me what the hose and substance was and was this done deliberately? thanks and happy motoring:biggrin_255 12:

I can't believe you even ASKED that question!!!

It was probably transmission or radiator fluid and OF COURSE it wasn't done on purpose!!

I would have gotten the name of the company, trailer and truck number and reported it to the authorities.

Iam assuming that the trailer was not placarded, but the red substance still could have been something dangerous to you and those around you.

Steelhoss, are you sure it wasn't blood? The location you described (on the trailer) is where a reefer would have a drain hole, and I have seen some with hoses (usu garden hose) hanging down from the drains to keep blood off the ICC bumper.

Tainted blood? That's worse than toxic waste.

That's what I was thinking - from the reefer, not the tractor.
