Thats odd. I never have cared for the looks of the T2 and probably never will try to check one out for the reasons you mentioned.

I'm happy with my International day cab right now. Don't care for any of the Freightliners that I've had to drive over the years. KW has some nice trucks, but as I'm rather uh, "large" there just is not enough room in the cabs for me to be comfortable. They need to put in another four inches front to back, so that the seats will go back a bit. . . Other than that, I have liked the KWs that I've driven. I had Volvos when I was with Knight. They were comfortable trucks, but you couldn't keep them out of the shop. What I'd look into if I was going O/O is a Western Star. But then I'm never gonna do that, I guess. . . |

| you will hear this and that about which brand is best-they are all the same in regards to engines and drivelines.some have Cats,Cummins,Detroit,etc.as to interiors,the freightliners and volvos are usually the most spacious(noting the t-2000 & 387 are on par),IMHO there is nothing that makes any particular truck better,although i prefer large interiors if i'm living on the road.that long nosed Pete may look cool but after ducking down to get in the sleeper all the time,that generic freightliner century is by far a more "livable" truck |
| |||
| because of the lengthy hood the 379 drives better and is easier to maintain Pete's are the top of the line as far as maintainence cat engines are also lower revving and quieter especially against Cumins rattling accessory drive |

| Damn freight liner storage doors are junk are yours broke |

| KW W9....to my specifications. Bought a new 2006 (w/o all the new EPA crap), Studio without the couch opted for a larger bed, added 14" on the sleeper, this is home for 6 weeks at a time. I have all the comforts I need....complete with rigmaster. Only had one LEMON Petercrap 379....after a court battle finally got my $$ back and haven't had the desire to try again with Petercrap. |

no where near what i call liveable. my international has a good 3 feet between the front and the edge of the bunk. 4 feet between cabinits. spacious cabinits, and shelves for the midroofs. its noisy and lil bit of a rough ride... and i agree the panel is a bit weak and cheap looking but i still like it. if i could id keep this truck til it fell apart. |

Too-tall not all the freightshakers have netting for their cabinets, depends on how cheap the company is Werner had actual doors, since Werner every rental freighshaker I drove had the cheap netting |
