Thats the hardest part....I can't tell you about any area other than around here...The best spots are where the loafers hang out.Local cafe, mini mart or coffee hang out with a laid back air(A major franchise/ busy truck stop is not the place). You hang out there for any amount of time and keep talking about wanting to drive or learning to drive and pretty soon they'll surface looking you over. Some truck owners are absolute thieving gougers and some pay even more than they should. You have to use common sense when dealing with these goobers because if they've survived very long, they are slick as cat crap on a tile floor. You can take it from there...Like I said b4.I wish I could have found somebody with some sense trying to learn....They would be in my truck right now.

schools are almost a requirement now. I spoke to a driving tester here in OK. and he said if you come in with out school they score you harder too. but you can find different options for school. check to see what it costs if you pay cash up front it will surprize you the difference. be prepared for a short classroom for most schols but thats ok you need the road time. the written test is pretty easy mostly common sense make sure they use manuals even the big ones are goin away from autos.
