| need a job i was wondering how i can get a job with an owner/operator. im having a hell of a time getting a job because i take a bipolar medication. i dont know if i can get on with an o/o but im running out of options and my wife suggested it. i would be very grateful for any help thanx again jeff Last edited by bullhaulerswife; 03.17.2008 at 02.47 PM. | If bipolar meds are a dis qualifier from the DOT's list then no O/O in his right mind will touch you either. Sorry.

| I would look into perhaps getting a job pulling camper trailers with a dually.. You also can look into hauling freight in a van or pickup.. I don't know a company that would hire you specificially but you could try this.. Go to Google and type in this Trucking then a city near you, even type your own city, also put your state, a list will come up then start calling them.. Same goes for camper hauling, Google it.. Just keep trying, It takes a lot of work, right now things are very slow and its a difficult time to find a good job.. |

| If I were you I would probly chek with the D.O.T. to make sure the medicine your taking is legal to drive professionally with. Even though it's perscribed it may be on their "NO Commercial Drivin" list. As far as O/O goes alot of us are drivin our own trucks cause we can't afford the fuel bill and the drivers wage. I hope this helps or at least gives you some place to start. Good Luck.
