Changed my mind......

I had a reason for seeking you out and registering, but now have decided I would be too embarrassed to mention it.....
I would like to mention though, that I am not a truckdriver myself, but with every truck I pass on the road ,I am jealous as hell .....I am a drive-aholic (of the 4 wheel variety) and think driving a truck is the ultimate profession.....(I did drive a 26 ft UHaul 2,300 miles last year.....NO right hand turns, NO backing up, NO one handed steering, and only ONE accident!)

Keep making me jealous.....maybe I'll get the nerve to ask my question later....

Why are you afraid and embarrassed? Not all of us bite. But we do bark loud and long. You would too if you had to deal with some brainless 4-wheelers too.

There isn't a single person here who would attack you or call you dumb because you asked an honest question.

So get up the nerve and ask away partner

Okay.......it's concerning my turtle.....I put an ad on Craigslist, and a few flyers around a truck stop and rest area....No response (other than some laughing)....
Since moving to WA from OH, and now deciding to stay here, I miss turtles......they are everywhere in OH, and can't find one out here......
My son (in OH) has one to send out here, but I prefer she not fly.....I am looking for a nice truck driver that might be in SW Ohio coming to the Portland/Vancouver area soon....
She takes little space, will bring her own food, and no potty breaks!.....

Okay, now I've embarrassed myself.....

Now that wasn't so bad was it? Don't be embarrassed there are probably drivers out there who have turtles as pets too. I had a desert tortoise as a pet when I was a kid. He use to dig under the fence and raid the neighbor's lettuce patch

I don't run to Ohio (well, not yet anyway) I'm running the Western 11.
There's bound to be a driver who runs your way though.

I not only have always been jealous of truck drivers, but have always thought they were the nicest people around......One winter, while still living in OH, I was going south on 75 (a very icy 75) and my car decided to try and make it underneath a flatbed (?) truck......as I was spit back out and sent spinning, every other truck on the road (even though it was icy) managed to do some pretty fancy manuverering and avoid running me over......after my car was towed away, the Highway Patrol dropped me at a truck stop (so. of Toledo) and told me to et my own ride home (Cincinnati)......I was furious.!.....
An extrememly nice driver gave me my first ride in a big truck that day.......All of you are on my "A" list.....
(now, if I can just find a ride for my turtle....)
