And now I'm not allowed to complain about yer smokin'???

If your not careful, I just won't stop at those t/s's anymore. That'll teach ya' to fuss with us four-wheelers.
Is that what it takes, Ducks?

I'm sure I can round up a few old stogies.

And to think I've gone all these years without bathing or washing clothes when all I needed was a cheap cigar.

Thanks for the help, I'll keep that in my mind.

Subaru? Is that what that was I ran over in the t/s parking lot? I thought that little symbol was a Hasbro (toy maker) symbol.

Oh, well. Too bad. Hope no one was in it.

Ducks, you are incorrigible, maybe you should get your CDL and go to work for Swift or JB. You'd fit right in.

First of all why would you park your subaru in the truck parking area, are you asking for it to get squashed? An second, careful you say or you wont stop at t/s's anymore, oh no what a loss, lmao!!!!!

Why, tuckerndfw, if you don't say the sweetest things...

(Are you sure I need a CDL to drive for Swift???)

Well, it's kinda like this, brink. Every now and then my little Subie gets a bit delusional and likes to think he's one of the big dogs. And when he gets in those moods? It takes everything I got to keep that mighty 1.8 litre, 90 hp engine under control.

Ka-ZING!

Tuckerndfw... I dunno. I'd call Schneider a mega hauler, and - at one T/S in particular - I've seen them take over the lot.

That small Pilot just outside (inside) Erie, PA. Lot has maybe 30 spaces, and I've seen 12 pumpkins parked there over night

Other than that, I hit Pilot cuz I have to fuel there. Never seen a one of them that's laid out with any thought to truck parking or even movement. I've seen one where to get to some parking slots you have to back around a corner, THEN park blind side. yeah. I'll go sleep naked in the middle of the interstate, I'd be safer.

And I'm not going to get into that abortion of a Pilot in Bordentown, NJ. I am NEVER going back to that one. I'll just say it was laid out by a sadistic four wheeler with a profound hatred of anything longer than 19 feet.

As for showering. yeah, I try to grab one daily. And rarely manage it. So I keep a couple tubs of baby wipes and Wet Ones to hand. It may not be the most green way of doing things - but what the heck, I drive something that gets - at best - 5.2 mpg. A few bio-degradable towelettes ain't gonna hurt the landfill any worse than a diaper or 12. And they do a pretty good job of getting 5th wheel grease off your skin.

Shaving ain't an issue. I gave it up years ago with my other bad habits. Well, the worst habits, anyway. I'm sure I still have a bad habit or two around here somewhere. Probably collecting dust on the mantle piece.

If you want to find a good place to eat, look for any place that has customers OUTSIDE the regular meal times. A bunch of cars in the lot at 14:00 or 20:00 is a pretty good indication that the place won't poison you.

Ducks - you DO know what we call a 4-wheeler in the truck lot, don't you? yeah - speed bump.

The worst place I've ever seen a 4-wheeler parked? smack in the middle of a Cat Scale up in Billings, MT. As Taggart woulda said "Now if that don't beat all. Here we take the good time and trouble to slaughter every last Indian in the West, and for what? So some idjit in a Bronco can see how much he weighs. I AM depressed."

Ok, yeah - that was a stretch. Sorry - been running that movie in my head for days now. By now, EVERYTHING relates to it.

I still woulda volunteered to shoot the idjit.
