| Help Me Please!! Does anyone know of a company in or around Little Rock Arkansas that will rent me a tractor and trailer to take the driving test for my Class A CDL? I'm literaly about to go crazy trying to find some way of getting my CDL without having to go to a CDL training school. I have my permit with all of my endorsements and it will expire on 10/17/08 if I can't find a truck. I have a good company willing to train me and start me off at a good pay ASAP but I have to get my CDL on my own. I've tried everything... the phone book, asking the troopers that give the test, google, family members that drive trucks, penske, ryder, etc. and noone knows. PLEASE HELP ME END MY MISERY! |

| OR Call Penske up and rent a truck for a day. Better than losing ALL you have done! Tell them what you are wanting to do and they will help you, they are a good company. Here is their link to help you: http://www.pensketruckrental.com/ Normally I don't link much, but I like them and make sure you tell them WE sent you and WE want you taken care of, ok? Ok, they told me to tell you to: Kevin: He would need to contact penske1 and I do believe they can rent one out for him, 1-800-736-7531.

| Thank you guys for your help. I really do appreciate it. I tried Penske earlier this month. They said they only rent tractors to trucking companies. That's the problem I've had out of all the truck rental places. I'll try them again and get a second opinion. I contacted all of the local truck driving schools today and they acted like i was insulting them by asking them if i could rent their trucks instead of dropping $4000 for their school. Don't get me wrong... the more training the better. But I just don't see the need for the school in my situation. Plus, $4000 sure would look better in my bank account than theirs. Thanks for your time! I'll keep checking in to see if someone can pull a rabbit out of a hat for me. |

| I think Mavericks headquarters is there? The problem I see is insurance might not allow it. I'd get one from the company that said they'd hire you. Can't their recruiter go down there long enough for your test? Something doesn't sound right here. |
