Your asphalt? As an avid cyclist, I can promise you that if you blow your horn at me for no reason (or attempt worse as many other sub-IQ steering wheel holders have thought is "funny") when I am legally on the road, you'll get a lesson you won't forget.

Your asphalt. It isn't any more your's than Marvin the Martian's.

As for MY ASPHALT, my truck pays dearly for the road and the right to use such said asphalt in fuel, road, HIGHWAY-USE TAX ( which by the way was more than that five-n-dime peddle/stroker cost), fed tax on tires, the list goes on. Not counting the base plate, IFTA, insurance, and license to operate on any and all roads and highways in the U.S. of A. You on the other hand, with your five-n-dime peddle/stroker, have yet to pay anything other than the price of said five-n-dime peddle/stroker. DON'T CONE TO A GUN BATTLE WITH A PEN KNIFE!!! As for throwing a water bottle in the cab of a MOVING TRUCK, that my friend could be looked at as a act of TERRORISM!! NUF SAYD

Man, you have no sense of humor
I pay all that too but I don't "own" the asphalt nor do I care too.

Sure I have a sense of humor. I just happen to live next to a college town and these dummies ride 3 and 4 beside each otherand won't move over to let people get by safely on the back roads. The best way to deal with these ( you owe me for boosting your redneck economy by attending this school) intellectually challenged, fly by nite, party degree, butt-wipes, is to scare them back to reality with a LOUD AND LONG BLAST! I have train horns on my TOYOTA,HE-HE-HE-HE I'm not going to waste gas moving at 5mph waiting on them to decide to let me by.

I have driven by riders and never had a problem. I don't know, I thought the CA mentality was an excuse but it couldn't reach all the way to VA or has it?

As a child we made many of trips out west, me and my brother always loved hearing that sound, so we always wanted a "honk!" Of course it was more personal for me....my biological father was a truck driver and I had never met him. Getting a "honk" gave me the chance to see the driver's face, I remember always wondering if *that* truck driver was my father. Anyways.....

I am soon to be 28 years old, I havent ever gotten on an interstate without trying to get a truck to "honk." My hubby, who is now in his mentorship stage of truckdriving, used to raise cain with me, saying I was embarrassing!

I recall one trip probably about a year ago headed West on 20 from Atlanta, GA to Birmingham, AL. Me and my brother were acting a fool trying to embarass our Moma, our sister and my hubby. I turned my "big" sun glasses up side down on my face, cocked my pretty pink GA baseball cap side ways and put a Burger King kids crown on top of it....I looked pretty crazy! We passed a rig and just about threw myself out the window trying to get him to "honk." He finally glanced over, started laughing and gave me one of the biggest honks I've ever heard. We played the pass, get passed game for a few miles, each time that truck driver was smiling and honking! He went on his way, getting off his exit and giving us a final wave and a honk.

Hubby was still fussing though. Traffic was light (it was early weekend morning going through the Talledega Nat Forest area) or I wouldn't have done it. After calming down, I looked at my hubby and told him I probably made that truck drivers day. He gave me a questioning look and I replied, " Truck drivers have lonely lives, you never know which ones have families out there and which ones don't and you really don't know when you could have made their day or gave them that extra strength to go on." I went on to say that those people would probably never see me again in their lives so why not have fun when ya dont have to be so embarassed. One thing is for sure, I'm almost 100% sure that I made that truck drivers day!

So if ya see a little 4 wheeler with a female in the passenger side that looks a little crazy, hanging out the window wanting a honk, it prolly me just trying to give you a smile! Of course, in about 6 months I will get to go out on the road with my hubby and I will carry my cool accessories with me and I'll be making a hoot of myself then.

It's not about being crazy or acting a fool, its about giving back those smiles that many truck drivers gave me so many years ago. Thank ya'll!!! (for everything that ya'll do)
