Truck Rental

I need a truck and trailer to rent for one day just to take my road test in. The person renting it for me has their class A so thats not really an issue, the issue is finding a place here to rent one at. I live 15 miles north of Atlanta,Ga. and the only place I know that rents them are Ryder and Penske and they say buissnesses only. Of course I don't know whats required to rent them so I don't know how they know whether your a buissness or not. My company has three dump trailers but they just sit on the yard with no insurance so thats out. I've been driving a dumptruck for a four years now so shifting is no problem at all and I've also been backing said enddumps around our yard for 3 months now. So I'm good to go, just need the truck. I've got an in with a local dry-bulk carrier here and I don't have to have experience just my class A/Tanker Endorsement. If anybody knows where I can rent a truck or anybody willing to rent one out for 3 hours, lol. Please let me know, any help is appreciated.

If you have an in with that company that will hire you, have you asked them if you can take the test in their truck?

In the DFW area there are a bunch of people that rent trucks just for CDL tests. Check the phone book under driver triaining or on line. One here is called CDL assist. They have sngl day cabs / 27' trailers. Meet you about 3 hours before your test and drive route with you so you know just what to expect. They used to charge about $300. Nost of their trucks were automatics too. I bet there are similar outfits in a city as big as Atlanta.
