You'll do one when you start school, do one when a company hires you, and do randoms. If you get into an accident you will also do one.

With my last company that would include ANY injury accident. ie; injury on dock or other type of injury that did not involve motor vehicle accident. I don't know if that is the law, or was just worker's comp. insurance mandated.

Company lawyer mandated....you pop a hot test. They owe you nothing...per their trial lawyers.

Drug test that go as far back as 90 days are a God send to companies and their insurance providers.

I equate that to stubbing your toe at age 3, then having your insurance refuse treatment for an amputated leg 30 years later.....due to your life history.

Being drunk or high in March. Has nothing to do with a workplace accident, in May.

Not likely. You never know when you'll come up for a random, and if there is suspicion, you can be tested too.

I dunno about them 2 chemicals.

But...I do know drivers who say they won't smoke pot. But will do coke when they're home...cuz it runs through the system in a few days.

Scarey eh?

Of course, I'm sure that practise has been curtailed a bit, with the economy and all.
