Why don't you ask your brothers at the lodge ? Obviously you think some other Mason should get you a job because you are a Mason , giving you preference over experienced drivers and giving you better loads , etc.

Scroll down to George Ryan and you'll see verification of Mason involvement with unqualified drivers getting CDL's .

OK #1...flaming,insulting and such are NO NO's on this forum, please read the terms of use again.

#2- I myslef have NOT been impressed with the masons, my dad was a 32nd degree before he died. Paid his dues and all that good stuff. His lodge had a very nice facility to care for people when they were sick, to notch physical rehab, great nursing staff, you name it they had it!!! One of the best residential nursing homes in the state, private apartments etc .Being a mason entitled him to use those services if he ever needed them. At a costs of course. WELL GUESS WHAT, when my dad NEEDED them, they REFUSED him TWICE!!! No reason given, just nope.

He was so hurt and disappointed to say the least. He COUNTED on his "lodge" and they just turned their backs on him..Just a month ago I got a letter from them asking for money to support their projects AGAIN (my dad has been gone over a year now) and once AGAIN I called them and gave them a piece of my mind (I shouldnt do that dont have much to spare)!

I am very upset everytime someone mentions the masons, they did NOT do what they pledged to do, complete strangers were better to my dad than his "brothers" of the lodge. At his funeral NOT one of them even attended, sent a card, flowers, NOTHING.....

Sorry this is so long, but this is the SHORT version of my rant.

Actuall I wasnt looking for privleges but just to keep in touch with other Masons/Shriners who drive truck. Is all. I believe a person gets the benefits of their job by how hard they work for it and hopefully it pays off. I just want to have a common comraderie with other Masons who are truck drivers as well. Thats all. Im sorry for the others that have had neg. expierences with the organization. Ive been a Mason for over five years and a shriner for over three years. I have my personal reasons for being one and I enjoy it. Especially being a SHriner. DOing something for the kids at the SHriners hospital and burn units is a great ordeal. Again sorry for those of who who have had neg. feedback.
