Lust is the most powerful emotion. And stupid is as stupid does.

Hooker's

Had one bang on the door in Stockton Ca late one nite, thought it might be a cop wanting me to move the truck, It wasn't. She asked if I wanted any company, told her I'd have to ask my wife, she was in the sleeper sharpening her bowie knife, when I turned back around, damn, she'd left!

We were parked at the J in Tulsa last night, waiting to get a load. As luck will have it, the only spot we can get ant TV reception is in the back row.
Well, about 1:30 this morning, I hear banging on the window, my 2 dogs are barking up a storm....hubby sleeping like a log, so I climb over him, look out the window, and there stands a L/L, standing on my running board, looking in at me.
I just shake my head, yell "Get the fudge off my truck!", all the while making ridiculous "shooing" gestures with my hands!

Must have made her laugh, cuz it sure did me, after I woke this morning and thought about it!
At an rate, we didn't get bothered again!

My wife is the only one who has the right to be wakeing me up at such an unholy hour! And at least with her I don't mind passing back out afterwards(LOL).

I've never had one bang on my door or bother me at all.
On the other hand, I've never had one bang on my door or bother me at all.

I did have one idiot that kept banging on my door at the T/A in south Dallas "Looking for his girl." About the third time he did it, I just popped the side vent and growled. He went away and didn't come back.

Seriously, i think they should be tied up for a few hours for waking anyone up. And then sternly lectured.

a) i would suggest to any of these people, and i'm hoping you all will too (if not please provide other suggestions) that they should leave a flyer or their business card on the windshield with their cellphone or pager # on it and if you want "company" to call that number.

This is very rude and a prevalent problem in the trucking industry----people think they can just wake us up at anytime. Even other truckers tend to do this to each other as well. It's not right and we need to do something about it.

LS, you are an evil person... but I like it!

...and Powell-P, if you are running for the position, I'll vote for you. Just leave us your cell #, we'll call you when we have a candidate for your hog-tie and lecture.

Talking

I was in chicago one night after my delivery I stopped at a hot dog joint on cicero ave, got my order to go, got in the truck and started to leave when a hooker jumped up on the passenger side of the truck and asked me if I wanted some company, I said no as I shifted into 2nd and told her to get off my truck, unsatisfied with my answer she then said well give me some french fries then, I said NO (I was hungry) as I grabbed 3rd gear, I then explained to her that we were approaching 30 miles per hour munching on my fries, she looked at the ground, jumped off did 2 perfect somersaults landed on her feet and flipped me the bird. they must go through training,
