Lot lizards

I never knew what a "Lot Lizard" was until I visited this site. I've learned a lot from your life experiences. What are some of the tactics you all use to keep the Lizards at bay, and which ones is favorite among the veteran truckers? This should be interesting as well as funny....

Doubt the bra thing would work, parking near the front rows is generally enough.
If your in a TS with "lots" of lizards then you can use
acouple paper towels to flag your truck.
Just pour a small amount of water on them and drop them out the "right" window, your truck is now flagged.

Old wives tale, urban myth.

This helps nothing for the lizards that approach from the left side of the truck and do not check the right side before knocking on your door.

Not to be insulting dude, but you were a Marine, right? That must have been one seriously isolated island for you not to have learned to deal with hookers!

AF in Korea - they outnumbered us 5-to-1. Actually that short tour was one HECK of a party!

It's so damn easy - just look em' in the eye and shake your head "no." That's all it takes. No stupid signals. No laundry hanging on the truck. Despite the fact that they're in a low and very denigrated position in life, they are still people - they might even have a really small quanta of dignity left. Just treat them with the slightest bit of respect and tell them firmly, NO.

Some are pretty persistent..telling them you're married dosn't mean a thing......sometimes you have to invoke: NO Thank-you and tell them to move on.....

Oh sure! Take the upper road and be polite! You walk away in control and maybe a wee bit superior and they don't feel quite so much like dirt. Where's the fun in that?

I was thinking of magnetic "No Soliciting" signs for each door. No you're right... it doesn't work on the house either.

How about this... find out which truck belongs to the annoying loud mouth in the diner and send her to his truck! Tell her he always says no but if you annoy him long enough he will give in... and tell her you've heard he tips well!
