If you don't have the time to do it your self for anyone else that wants to move a truck, You can contact a Drive Away company do do it for ya. They charge ya, but they pay for the permits and all. I use to pick up repossessed trucks that way. Glad I don't any more though.... LOL

When you buy a truck from a dealer you are given a 30 day temp tag to move the truck, get to the commercial vehicle office etc. but you CAN NOT hitch a load to it. And since you cannot be pulling a load, you are not under dispatch and the bobtail just became a very expensive personal vehicle so as long as you have at least basic liability Ins. So drive on!

well i made it it home wed from kentucky,..all i had was bill of sale,title,and bobtail insurance,...only time i got asked any question was at the aggrivation station at the florida line,..showd'em my bill of sale and title and they waved me on
