Hello, I have been considering trucking for a while cause I like driving and need the money. I was wondering if there are any women drivers out there in IL that could take me for a ride along so I can get a feel for what it's like. Since I'm a women, I would just feel more comfortable with a women driver. Thank you!

Hello and Welcome to the Forum
IMHO, I would suggest that you check with your local Community/Technical College's Truck Driver Training program. They would give you a tour and even allow you to talk with other students...

Ask about the WIA program. This is available funding for training, if you qualify.

When you get into school, please start a thread under,"Trucking Schools", so that you can post about your experiences in training.
