i dont think anyone even seen the accident, in one report they said it was either red or white. i think they're fishing, and it's gonna suck major to be that log hauler in a red rig with a white primer that jus so happened to slide into a tree on a muddy back road.. i really wanna keep track of this story just to see how it fans out.

She was in her car on her way to work that day. The roads were wet, and he hit her head on. So either he was on her side of the road or he slide. I don't know if anyone seen it happen, but I wish someone did or that he would come forward. He is a coward and should be arrested for leaving her there to die. She was a very nice woman and didn't deserve that. There are investigators looking into the accident and I pray they find him.

By the way i'm sure he knew he hit her, but apparently he didn't care. What do you mean by a muddy back road? Where did you hear that from?

Anyway, if everyone could just get the word out and find out any information, that will be a huge help!!

the muddy back road was part of a scenario that i wouldn't want to happen to another driver because of this awful incident. and in all honesty, i dont think the truck hit the card head on, cause of all of the front end collisions i know about, the front end normally gets locked up in one direction or the other. Best scenario i can come up with is that the truck came into the curve too fast and hit brakes to adjust, and since i the trailer wasn't loaded it started to do the bunny hop and stepped over into the next lane and she ran into the tandems like another drive had already stated. so if they're looking for a truck with front end damage they'll never find it, or they'll end up grabbing someone that has nothing to do with it that has front end damage.. but i do hope they do find them. (not gonna put a sex to the driver cause women drive also).

Mitch has a good point.:biggrin_25514: If they are basing the color on residual paint on the car, many flat beds are painted red. I know the ones my husband pulled were red.

Since no one seems to know what happened, how can anyone speculate as to the truckdriver crossing the center line? This is starting to sound like a witch hunt. Like I said earlier, i think, that if this was a head on collision the truck wouldn't have been able to drive away. This could have been a situation where she hit his trailer and bounced into a ditch.

Not sticking up for the driver but if he hit her head on i dont see how the truck could have driven away or at 9am nobody passed it going down the road with damage more to this accident than anyone knows all speculation at this point, either way i hope they find who did it and get closure.

speculation is all the trucking community seems to get when ever a smaller vehicle is involved.

They caught that s.o.b who killed my dear friend Linda, it was a man! So thankfully that will give the family closure. I knew they would even though so many people didn't think they would! I had faith, and it has proven to be justified like always. This is my last post, thanks to all who have given sympathy.

ps they haven't given out any names yet
