Nah, that's southern justice and me too. But a big truck starting up wouldn't bother me either. Anyone that revs a cold engine doesn't know diesel engines.

Most likely we're talking a woman versus a man in a snooty housing development in San Diego. How about a homeowners association? Most developments restrict big trucks and RV's from parking at the house. Use them to get rid of the truck. If he brings the tanker trailer home and the tanker still has flammable placards on it, he is restricted from parking within 300' of a populated area.

From one incident, things are escalating out of control. Figure out how to stop it before someone gets hurt. You can't deal with it, move.

You sound like the a holes in my Burbank neighborhood. He probably is starting and leaving in the morning. Get over it. Trucking companies are required to do mandatory random drug testing so I really doubt that he is using any illegal drugs.

Get over it, drivers have enough to deal with without you creating undue problems.

Guess I should elaborate, the truck wouldn't be the problem. Throwing stuff in my yard would and I'd handle it.

Unless he's throwing soup bones or steak bones, then the dog would love that, but chicken bones, come on man. lmao

Hmmmm....I would think you need more proof that just believing he is smoking dope. If you are 100% without a doubt, positively sure and witnessed him smoking dope, then I don't agree with some that say let his company deal with it." I mean come on, if he is that dumb to be smoking it in the open at home, why would drivers not think he isn't doing it OTR? I doubt any driver here wants to be around someone who is driving any vehicle (4 or 18 wheels) smoking the ganja while OTR. The crash he causes while being DUI could involve your loved ones. I wouldn't want it on my conscience knowing he was smoking the "good medicine" and he killed or maimed someone while doing so, and I alway said "it's none of my business., let someone else deal with it."
The truck starting at 4am sucks and is really annoying; just like my neighbors mowing at 9am, uninvited guests or other people knocking at the door, and kids playing outside seemingly right beneath my bedroom window, etc., when I am sleeping after 3rd shift!) but he does have to start the truck to leave, right? If he is revving the engine just to annoy you, then he needs a beat down.
I do agree with the chicken bones part. If he is doing that, then there would and should be problems because he is giving you a big ole **** YOU, I don't care about you or your property, and he is definitely trying to start something with you! That has to stop!:biggrin_25510:

I never had "roach burns" on my shirt, nor did I smoke it so short that I got blistered lips. :biggrin_25522:

:biggrin_2559: Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. A nice big turkey carcass would be a good addition to his yard tomorrow night in retalliation.

As a former pot smoker, all i can say is that this sounds completely ridiculous. no one that is 'stoned all the time' has the drive to go out of their way to bother their neighbors. unless you are actively trying to yank his chain all the time, there is no reason he would be trying to bother you when there are all those hilarious infomercials to watch and a nice comfy couch to sit on. pot smokers are the most reasonable people i have ever met. all they want is to be left alone for the most part. pot does not make you do crazy things like hard drugs or alcohol. if you really have a problem with your neighbor, you should be NEIGHBORLY and go next door and talk it over man to man. if you havent tried this option yet you are a worse person than he is. there might be a reasonable explanation for what you perceive to be belligerent acts. as far as driving a tanker with cannabinoids in his system, he will get caught quickly. cannabis stays in the bloodstream longer than almost any other illegal drug. it is stored in fat cells and sometimes just burning some of that fat can make you fail a drug test even if you arent using the drugs anymore/recently. if he really is operating a rig within 30-90 days of partaking in the 420, he will be caught very quickly.

tl;dr: man up and go talk to him. whining on the internet solves nothing.
