My name is Harley and I want to go home, can anyone out there help me please? I am a very long way from home and I am so sad and cold.....

    ______________________________________________________________

My baby Harley was on a road trip with my brother, Harley Joseph is 8 months old as of Jan 20, 2011.
He is approx 25 pounds He is tan in color. He has 4 white paws. He has a white tip on his tail also.
He has a black collar on, not sure if my tag is still on it or not. (Brother may have taken it off.)
He is very, very sweet, but a little shy and probably scared to death.

This little guy came from a girl who kept him in a closet....I gave her a choice, give me the puppy or the police. She gave him to me and we made him a
part of our family...we love him so much and miss him terribly.

We have never lost an animal before, and this is new to us. We need help!

Harley has been fully vetted and has all his shots as well. (Brother has paperwork also.)

My brother said he was at the Travel Center of America truck stop in Jessup Maryland.
The truck stop is at I-95 and Rte 175 in Jessup MD.

Im looking for someone that might be good enough to peek around to see if they can find him, I know there are companies near by where he was lost.
Maybe get me the company names so I can call them as well?

I am also looking for some kind hearted truckers that might network on their cb's for us ... he has to be somewhere.
And I am afraid for him. He could freeze or starve. Again, he is only 8 months old....

Does anyone out there think you could help me with finding him?
    PLEASE, I AM BEGGING....

Please email me if you think you can help us in any way to bring my baby back home...email address is above.

Below is a recent pic of him...thank you to those of you who read this and consider helping us.
    God Bless ~

I would try to find the nearest dog shelter in the area and give them a call. Also google maps may be able to pinpoint buisnesses around the TA Truck Stop

First off...I was concerned untill I saw that it's a PITBULL DOG. If he is only 8 months old he is not trained enough to let your bother take the dog out on the road. Plus, if he was kept in a closet most of his life, This is exactly what dogs do when they are abused! Run the frist chance they get since it's all they have known!

SECOND Your really think that the truckers or bussiness in the area have the time to look for your lost dog? Or to use the CB to ask about your dog?? The truckers and bussiness are on time contrants and don't have the time to go look for your dog let alone take a piss or fuel their truck. And the CB is for the use of the truckers on the road for trucking purposes. yes I know there is alot of talk but most truckers the CB is a tool for their job. Not to find lost puppies.

Now don't get me wrong, I own dogs and cats, but it was just careless of you to let your 'baby' go out on the road like that. I hope for his sake someone does find him and gives him a better home or someone puts the PITBULL out of our misery and hits him with there TRUCK!!!

Now don't get me wrong, I love animals and the pets I've had have always been apart of the faimily so I understand that part. But it's alwyas being a responsible owner. Plus, something I diden't mention if the girl kept him in a closet, then it was probibly bred from and for fighting purposes. I uderstand that you look at the cute little helpless thing and want to help it, but It's a PITBULL....and just like any pet, they are animals and those insticts are set very early on.

MY POINT IS STOP WAISTING THE TRUCKERS TIME.

    PainNdaNeck Thanks this.

I don't think there was any need for all of this when some one has lost a part of their family.
