Lost or Damaged Cargo Auctions at Freight Companies?

XOM in Beaumont makes Mobil One, procedure is to flush the line before loading,that's sold for.19 cents per gallon. They used to give the OS&D to employees ( damaged cases, quarts, jugs ) till the employees started making more off sales than salary.

Here's one for you....... a direct quote from their safety procedures....." contraband is not allowed in the plant including bodily fluids" ( no sheet ) Being the smart arse I am, I asked for "clarification" and "definition".......security told me that the mega's coming in to load case oil like to bring their "tea" in the plant...in gallon jugs.....uh huh, so security decided that if a jug of liquid was claimed to be "tea" then the driver was requested "to drink his tea"......... no takers as of this writing tho......funny stuff and a true story.

It depend Upon companies are terms and condition which is mention in memorandum association Or article-A....
In some of the company....
They use to sell out it as a scrap and whatever amount it received they reduce they lost by this amount and show they low loss....
Because big companies are not interest to show they balance sheet in loss...
