We are a company with an innovative tie down strap (it is side loading so it takes about 1/3 the time to load and unload). We are experts in the retail channel (Home Depot, Lowes, Northern Tool) but we know almost nothing about where truckers buy their supplies. Would be curious to hear where you shop for supplies like tie down ratchets. Thanks for any help.

There are "truck supply" houses and outfitters in most every larger city. I'm not sure how their supply chain works but I suspect there are a number of national distributors but don't know any names. Trailer dealers are often national, especially flatbed, also stock binders, chains, straps, etc for retail sale.

If your on the road, there are suppliers at some of the refuel stations. Best bet is to do it from home.
NH Northern has some stuff as well. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/category_material-handling+straps
Fortunately for me the local auto parts stores have a fair amount of binders and straps so I dont need to go online. -
