Trailer type

    New here and wondered if anyone would know what this trailer would be used to haul. The backend seems to be unique for a special type payload. This guy side swiped my wife today an left the scene of the accident. IMG_97876134511996.jpg

    Looks like a "walking floor " trailer that has a belt that carries the product out the rear of the trailer. Probably grain in this case

    I would say it is more likely a dump trailer because I can see where the pivot point is at the back and also the shape of the box opening it's flat on the bottom and curved on the sides.. It's not a walking floor I know that for sure because walking floor trailers are flat bottomed like a dry van only they have walking doors rather then solid floors...

    I would also say possible belt trailer, but I don't see a belt out the back so I doubt that's what it is..

    I am gonna stick with dump trailer....

    Sorry to hear about the side swipe and the driver taking off.. This is just how unprofessional some drivers really are, makes the rest of us look bad.. :biggrin_25513:

    it is a belt floor for hauling commodities; grains sand forage etc. Probably an Aulick or a Trinity or something like that.
