Best thing is for trucking companies to start sueing the states for illigaly dumping their snow on top of trailers for free out of state transport!

You know I hate to give ideas away but lets say you have van trailers that are 13'6 on the exit to your termanl you put which looks like a football goal post the crossbeam would be at 13'7 as the truck drives under it. It will remove the snow and ice from the roof the crossbeam may want to be shaped like a wedge so that it pushes the ice and snow up and over as the truck moves through the wedge should point towards the dirrection of travel..OK yes I have way to much time on my hand and keep giving away my ideas dangit did it again :biggrin_25524:

As the snow falls off it accumulates and then causes the truck to be higher.

I think no matter what you do you will deal with the effects of the accumulation unless maybe if you have a grated surface underneath that it can run off into and drain into a pit where it pours into the sewer system I dont lousy weather outside I'm just bored

Not sure how long you been out here. But most warehouses already implement a snow removal especially in the north east. The problem lies it cost money to add the equipment. http://www.scrapersystems.com/ uploadfromtaptalk1380997467894.jpg
