Does anybody know what the new International Lonestar costs? :smt108 I have been all over that site and can't seem to find a base model or loaded price. :smt102

FWIW: No, I do not have new truck money. I'm just curious how much of my potential lottery winnings are going to need to go towards a new truck. :toothy7:

While I'm here, why do so many truckers use wallets with chains?

I stopped at the dealer here in Columbus, Ohio and checked out the one they have on the lot. Big Cummins power, 18 speed, moderately decked out inside and a mid-roof. Still a sweet looking truck. The sales guy told me the one he had on the lot was $154,590. Just about $154,580 dollars out of my price range!

Hi! this has nothing to do with anything bout truckers likes and dislikes! i have a question bout a truck! i drive a 2006 freightliner heritage edition truck and im having problems with the truck idleing and the tri pak heating the truck! is this normal? i have never used a tri pak so i dont know if something is wrong or what. i set the tri pak controls to heat and set the temp for 80 and it only blows hot for few minutes then shuts itself off and i end up freezing the rest of the nite. can anyone help me with this problem?

i would post this exact question in a thread by itself. you will get far more input that way. never had a tripak myself, sounds lik something is amiss though.

I like the way the oldtime trucker/mechanics do it. Buy a glider and refurbish/customize an older truck. Much money saved and you wind up with something cool, ready for life, and yours.
Chain drive means you're baaaaad and keeps the baaaaad boys away from you.
Or makes you look like an idiot when it gets hung on the stool when you try to leave the restaurant.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but my wallet has a chain so that when I am out riding The Bike if it happens to fall out it does not lay upon the roadway.

What are the votes on the Lone Star? I personally don't like it... over the top in a tight market, and that grill! Ugh... but that's just me.
The only chain I have on my wallet is held by my wife, bless her heart! She is a good woman, though!
