How do company drivers pay for fuel? Do they use some sort of a company fuel card? Do they monitors miles driven to amount of fuel consumed? Is the expense incurred by the driver and then compensated later?
Thanks again guys

Most companies give drivers a fuel card but fueling policies vary . Most cards have a daily limit . Some companies designate fuel stops on each trip . Some require verification calls when fueling . The required miles for each trip are known . Some carriers will charge drivers for fuel for excessive mileage and also for excessive idling .

Alot of O/O have accounts with loves, flying j, etc. or a company credit card. Most O/O leased to decent sized carriers run the carriers fuel card and the cost is deducted on the next weeks pay. Werner was weekly. sunday to saturday, or close to them days. CRST Malone was per trip. Whatever trips you turned in for the week, whatever fuel you bought on said trips, fuel was deducted. -
we pay for fuel by punching a set of numbers into the pump at authorized stations
