I was never crazy about Texas' black and white scheme until I broke up a domestic dispute on I-20 one day. Never saw a car look as good as the one that pulled up behind me that day.
I always liked North Carolina's color scheme. They have an old K-5 Blazer up around Spruce Pine that looks great in those colors. But I'll probably have to say the black and tan scheme of my home state is about my favorite. They have a couple of really sharp looking Super-Duty Fords, but this one takes the cake (sorry, not the best picture.)
What is the best looking State Police/Highway Patrol cars that you see on the road?

Saw one in Kokomo a month or so ago. Bet none of them have V6's... GT package at least.
So they can buy the bears hot chase cars, but they let the toll road turn into a goat trail and can't find the money for enough salt to fill a shaker in the winter... -
Why should they care about the toll road?
They do not own it anymore. -

Colorado has pretty good looking graphics on their State Patrol cars but I discovered paying the officer a compliment won't get you out of a ticket. They have some really covert unmarked cars too.

Back in the mid-80's, Colorado State Patrol had a Mustang they were expieramenting with. 5.0, twin turbo, bad ### car, it was in the build stage for about 4 months, was only actually used on the highway for about 15 days out of 90 days it was in-service. At the time I was in the Police Explorers and got to see that thing, it was pretty cool.
Colorado also did a promotional thing in the late 80's, they took a bright yellow Lambo Countach, put a working lightbar on it, a CSP door emblem, and a seriously bad ### looking cop beside it, then blew up the pic to poster size. I used to have the poster floating around somewhere, it was great. -
Gotta throw this out there. Don't screw off in Oklahoma!

from my prior law enforcement exp i can tell you every year there is a contest across the country among state police/highway patrol and for several years running (late 90's early 2000's) NC won every year and that was with agencies doing the voting if that tells you anything i dont know if its still the same since i left LE in 2003 but i'd say NC is tops
