Most produce loads I use to haul paid around $2. More recently, meat loads paid $3- $3.30.

Don't haul perishables for less than $2.00 a mile, anything less than that you're a sucker.

Coming out of the northeast to Texas, OK, LA. I get 1.70-1.80 a mile, but it ends up being a 1 pick, 7-8 stop load, or 2-3 pick 4 stops..No bueno.

most of the produce i get out of yuma pays 2.40 with 3 picks and 3 drops...salina's pays 2.60 with 4 picks and 3 drops...meat outta dodge city was paying 2.90 to cali and thats boxed.. swingin was 3.25 with hooks..depending on if i bulkhead any loads it varies on the prices.. but i do haul my own trailer so it is a slight advantage..but i wont run the north east or east coast anymore (ie; Hunts point or anything that way) seeing as the tolls eat into the profits and i dont run the north west due to sloooowwww speed limits and to many laws... now i will run into florida or georgia then back west...

Really,????? because it's all the average rates for the week. All you do is a little math and you have your rate/mile.
