The country is in 15 trillions in dept and counting. All I see that despite the recent recession majority of folks who have been born and lived in number one economy in the world for all these decades should have been better off but they are not. Not necessarily applicable in your case but some people are not looking for sympathy rather for welfare money

I don't need nor want your advice on what I should of done to protect myself financially. So, if you would be so kind to go away and leave me alone, I'd appreciate it. I have what I have and I will deal with it.

Honyb57...I'm sorry you're having to deal with this, but you'll get through it. Don't be afraid to ask for any assitance. Good luck to you.

I'll refrain from commenting on DFBYs posts. Suffice to say we all have our strengths, weaknesses, priorities, abilities, problems, responsibilities and the like. My suggestion to DFBY is to quit listening to talk radio (because his posts sure reek of TR-ODing) and have a little compassion. And DFBY....you don't sound cruel.

You sound like a monumental #######.

I can tell you what has always helped me with this task, I have always carryed a two pound hammer to kick the tires with, in addition, I bought a two foot long piece of three quarter inch solid round steel and kept the hammer beside my seat handy so that I could check the tires whenever I stopped. I kept the round shaft wrapped with a wrag, "so that it doesn't roll around or rattle", behind the seat. Any time you are in a hurry, or it is raining, it seems like one of the pins will not release, you can use the hammer and drive the pin in easily, but you have to get in close, "usually after a bath, and you get dirt on your clothes", so with the two foot long shaft you would use it like a punch, placing one end against the pin, and hitting the other end with the hammer, it is so much easier and you don't get in close and get dirty. Now you could easily use a 5/8" round or smaller yet a 1/2" round to make it lighter for yourself if you wish, they would work just as well. I got to where I never gave it a second thought when getting out to slide the tandem, I just grabbed the punch and hammer and if a pin wasn't release I just drove it in, saves your clutch and several times in and out of the cab. Hope this might help. Also the steel round makes a pretty good standby weapon in an emergency.

Soapstone can be purchased at your local welding supply shop or at Tractor Supply store in the welding section. It is like chalk somewhat. I always counted the holes from the front to determine where I wanted to end up, but everyone needs to develop a method that works well for them.
