It takes a lot more than a hood on a PACCAR product to be a truckdriver.

yeah you also need sweat pants, a stained up tank top, flip flops and lets not forget the bluetooth head set.....and be sure to wear it in the truckstop and talk as loud as you can to whos ever on the line while you pay for fuel, order your food or even while your going 10-200.......then AUTOCAR, you are a REAL truck driver, come on, lol.......

I'm not a "real" truckdriver. I don't have an automatic, cruise control, power windows, my dimmer switch on the turn signal arm, air ride cab, a shoulder belt, drop down visor, or even an ECM on my engine.
BTW, I don't have wax paper seat covers, so I can get my candy butt out of the seat, either.

Sooo your saying since I shower regular, only wear sweats while in the seat and never out of the truck, leave my cell in the truck when I get out and drive a fancy new truck I can't be a real trucker? ####. I think a real trucker is in this industry because they love the road and chose the career not the on again off again plumber that can't find work. Besides I see enough Walmart types in Walmart that I could go with out it at the truck stops. ::END RANT::

Edit: Mean no offense to anyone that posted here, just a rant that went along with the theme.

So your a real truck driver huh? And in your 25 years of driving you havnt became an o/o yet to make some better money? Sounds to me like your a rookie fresh out of school bragging bout a horrible company to work for. 379 and w9s more like a bunch of fdls and 13 letter #### spreaders. Sorry but i live about 2 miles from a sale barn and im calling bull**** on your "gotta be a real trucker to drive here"

I'm curious about this statement. Why does one have to become an O/O, to be a "real" trucker?? I have no desires to own my own truck, what does that make me??
