    65 company.
We worked there 7+ years ago.
Say Hi to Cliff in the shop, and Harry in safety. Nice folks to work for - never had anything bad to say about them.

    We left for higher pay.

i was actually impressed with his question....could it be that MONEY is not his number one concern? maybe a less boring 58 mph drive across 800 miles of Texas would be much more enjoyable at 68 or 70.. Enjoyment with a tad smaller paycheck maybe more satisfying than a larger paycheck with total blah.

With regards to questions like this, most people will answer like this.
If you are driving someone else's truck, they decide what the top speed of the truck is. They pay the fuel costs, so they set the top speed at what ever level they feel gets the best MPG.
If you want to decide what the max speed of the truck is, put down the dollars and buy your own truck.
The speed setting of a truck should be at the bottom of your list in deciding which company to work for.

run away from freymiller. there not a good job by no means. the short list. capping miles, holding the twic card, bad behavior, seriously under powered trucks, very, very, very slow loads. so you won't have to worry about planning trips. the buddy list gets the best miles. they are not nice people. they get jealous of drivers income or where drivers might live. if a wreck happens in the state where you live with one of the trucks. expect to have your miles cut. if you do your job and get someone in the shop or office in trouble or questioned. then look to be treated rudely. trucks are set at 65 mph. motor is gutted for 80% of it's power. leaving at a speed of 58 tops.

I want full throttle in my truck.....no traffic, no construction, no accidents, no tickets.....just a lonely road with nobody on it. I want to break the land speed record for a 40ton bullet spewing flames from two 10 inch Chrome longhorns.

I need a job that pays more than my bills....

There is a huge difference between what some want and what some need!

They look like a decent company to work for... the hometime could be better, 21 days out, 3 days off. In reality, they probably keep drivers out 4 weeks.

Lets us know how you like it over there in TX...
