    Good day fellow drivers 👋

I know everyone hates on the NOOB ,but hear me out and maybe give me some advice?
I am currently looking into buying a reefer 2010+ (plan on running California atleast once a month) and was wondering if I should just look at a new unit considering it would be about 20k more as a total price.
I have seen my buddys firm get 200-300 sometimes a load when shippers see a new trailer vs older one.
Reason I am at criss-cross my truck payment is $1715 and a new trailer would be 1200? Area

What are some of you fellow drivers' payments on a new reefer trailer
    All help is appreciated

I bought a 2007 trailer that was in good shape but had a 2012 engine and rebuilt compressor. I paid about $30k less than a new trailer with a new unit and have hauled ice cream on it in the summer at -20 with no problems. I'm good until 2019 for Cali as well. Seemed like the economical way to go. It's not as pretty as a brand new unit but so far so good. Have had no major issues.

This is the new one I am actually leaning towards, just not sure what payments might be with 0 down vs the 2010s they have with 14k hours for $40,000
I went to look at these yesterday since my future boss(starting in 3 weeks) bought 2 new ones in 2015 and a Pete 386 plus they are up 85N from me 1.5hr

you can buy a real good reefer for 8K or less, and stay completely out of california. Only way to make them quit with the nonsense is to making them feel the pain. Just my 2 cents.

just so happens that one of my oldest family friends rebuilds Carrier Reefer units for a living here in Atlanta at his job
gave me lots of tips to keep it running god long time and he can inspect it time to time
