| This is not for me, but for my best friend ,since 7th grade. I spent the weekend with her, and we had a great time!! The only trouble is she spends 24/7 in pain, she had two unsecesfull back surgeries, and has been living like this for many years!! When I left she was in bed, where she informed me, that sometimes she is there, staring at the four walls for sometimes days on end!! I felt so bad that I was unable to help her, I left, wondering how is she able to handle that, and thought that no one should have to live like that! I was just hoping that maybee she could be put in everyones prayers.

| Thanks for the prayers Cybergal!! That is my question to!! A few years ago, she mentioned a procedure they have been doing over in Europe, they have had succes with it. Last she talked about it, they had not approved it over here yet? My husband had donor bone fusion done when he was 23, I mentioned that to her, but they wont do it anymore, she knows people that had it done, that are wheelchair bound. I guess he was just very lucky!! It is his hard to believe that with all the modern technology we supposidly have today, that they do not have a solution for it yet?? I hope someday she will go for a third surgery, even if she was able to become a little more mobile, It might be worth it!!??

| Depending on exactly what the problem is that is causing her pain there is a procedure now in the United States. Many "back pain centers" are able to offer it and it is being covered by major insurance. It's called Vax-D (Vertebral Axial Decompression) We have a couple of patients that have had remarkable success. It might be worth her checking into. Many thoughts and prayers her way. Pain is a terrible thing to live with day in and day out. I hope blessings of relief will come her way.
