Questions About God & The Bible You Have Never Gotten A Good Answer To

I though that this would be a great thread for people to post some of their hardest questions regarding God and the bible. It would be a great place to post things you do not understand and want t0 know more about. Either way I believe people will benefit from this thread.

You should understand though that sometimes questions that need answers require great detail and many times a better understanding and scope of the word. So it is possible to get some long answers at times, you shouldn't just expect a simple yes or no, even though that can happen alot, but more often than not in order to explain things the word has to be opened up and unfolded in a systematic logically way, that is very easy to understand and follow. What is taught should also be able to be backed up by scripture if needed or asked to do so.

It is also necessary to operate certain biblical research principles in order to righly divide the word. If I personally answer a question and some one needs to understand HOW I got to my answer, I will show them the principles that the word has laid out within it that must be used in order for ANYONE to get to the rightly divided true word of God.

Here's one for ya...

I was wondering this the other day...

The whole salvation thing...why is it so spread out...

Adam and Eve sinned...Jesus was born 4000 years later?
And has been gone for 2000 years?

Why couldn't God have wrapped all this up by making Jesus the first born of Eve?

And by doing so...saved so many souls from being born and having to suffer and die and wars and rebellion ect ect...why stretch this thing out so so long?

Is it for Gods entertainment or our benefit?

the whole concept of Jesus dieing for sins to be forgiven

Man sins so god impregnates human to give birth to a disguised version of himself in order to let himself be beaten to death so he can forgive us our sins

seems like a long nonsensical ordeal when god could on the other hand just could choose to forgive

why are there two versions of the commandments in the bible, and the only one referred to as the ten commandments in the book is not the set you see claimed in public?

The main issue isnt salvation, its government. Its not just the earth, its universal. According to the Bible, someone challenged God's right to rule the universe. God gave humans dominion over the earth, but never the right to decide for themselves whats right and whats wrong. Humans chose to rebel against the Supreme Being and God has allowed them to rule themselves.

Why so long? Humans have yet to realize that no matter what invention, no matter what advancements are made by science, no what they can come up with...they will never come up with the solution to what ails them.
2000 years ago, humans did not have the ability and the advancement to destroy themselves completely. They do now. Why is this important? The Supreme Being said long ago that the ways of man may seem wise to men, but will only lead to death.
When it is that death and extinction are facing all flesh, the Supreme Being will show His hand.

Ghostchild I believe the answer to your question is held in the long term study of the Bible. But I'll give you the short answer that I have come to and believe:

God created man (and woman) to be His companions (friends). However they sinned and thus had to be parted from His presence. God however still believed in the good of His creation and their ability to do right. Thus He set up ways for them to achieve righteousness. You see we’re not His pets, we’re not animals. We’re His companions, His “children”.

Along with life God gave us free will. While we can not decide what is sin and not sin we do get the choice of our actions. And then we bear the consequences.

Look at it this way: as a parent and their children. You have a child you give them the opportunity to do for them self. They can not learn without effort. You allow them to try, fail, and succeed over and over. But if you seem them on the edge over and over and you finally realize they just can't do it. You do it for them.

God loves His creation, His children and we couldn't do it. We could not remain sinless nor could we sacrifice, be forgiven and remain pure. Over and over we failed.

Yet His love never failed us. Not once. Over and over God redeemed mankind and gave fresh beginnings and then finally He simply paid the debt of sin Himself so that we could have it freely.

We can freely choose His grace, His forgiveness or we can feely choose to continue in sin.

I’m sorry if I’ve rambled and not been clear enough….my thoughts are so scattered lately.

I have one BIG question here, how do we know that there is a God? or Jesus? just because the bible says so? Has anyone ever seen Jesus or God in person? talked with him and actually heard a voice? If books can be written to tell stories or possible history then what if the bible is just a story, Does anyone have real reliable proof there is a God Or Jesus? I am not meaning to sound ike a smart aleck or be stupid, just one big question.

There is no incontrovertible, empirical proof of the existence of God. I think that everyone here, Christian or not, agrees with that.

Yours is not a smart aleck question, but a fundamental one. It is quite possible that all of it is just a story.
