Attention drivers: If you are wanting to get home when scheduled THINK AGAIN!!!! They will leave you sitting. :biggrin_25510: You have kids? You will hardly get to see them if you are with this company. They will send you several states away when you want to get home they will keep you at that state sitting all weekend. Then when they do get you a load it is a short distant one. I know for a fact several drivers quitting because of this. And if they know you just bought you a place. They will really cut down on your mileage. They are only out for themselves. They treat there drivers awful. :tongueSTARS11::smt067

Let me get this straight, you bought a new house and because of that, the company decides to force you into foreclosure? Are you serious?

    look around you

there is still more available trucks than frieght, everyone is sitting alot more
and just how exactly is it the companys fualt you cant make your morgauge?
i can see the "making me sit" case being employed here.....but its not as much as a punishment for "drivers", as it is a case of little to NO frieght worth hualing

No miles no paycheck. Drivers say they want to run they make them sit. I am not the only one who has bought a place and has now since lost it because of the low miles. And when the company hires more drivers than freight that is how it is there fault.

No , it's the driver's fault for thinking trucking will be a good job because "everybody needs stuff " and the job is "what you make it " .
Business media have been reporting job losses and freight decreases for 2 years . Several thousand jobs have been lost every month . Freight has come up slightly 2 or 3 months but was followed by a larger decrease the following month .
Get some facts instead of listening to recruiter BS .

Funnyfatchick, I just took advantage of the 2 for 2 dollar hot dog deal at the Pilot, do u think if they find out about this my miles will begin to decrease. The house is no big deal, I've got a bed behind my seat with seperate climate control, pretty sweet.:biggrin_25520:

P.S. What a completely ridiculous post

Just today, 1 day after Obama's first SOTU speech, first time filers for unemployment numbered 470,000! That was for TODAY, 01/28/2010 and was reported by ABC News a main stream drive by news media company! NOT FOX NEWS! These are people who for some reason filed for their first time today! Impressive and these newbie drivers think hey are going to make money driving for pissant .25 -.31 cents per mile wages? Now, how many of these 470,000 out of work people do you think will sign on to a bottom feeder company and wind up like Funnyfatchick and others? I don't hear and haven't heard that "driver shortage" cry lately, do you?

Life is going to get very interesting for these people! My unemployment ran out at the end of December and the guy I drove for has told the unemployment people when they called to verify for my "Obama government guaranteed" 20 week extension that I QUIT my job! I love having all this experence and can't find a job because these MORON trainees are doing it for free! Looks like in 3 months when I loose my home and car it will be warm enough for me to pitch the tent in the city park and move my wife and 2 sons there until Obama spends the rest of our money "making jobs!" ROFLMAO! Lets see what happens to the rest of them!

I don't think a company will have drivers setting for a long period of time if they have freight to move, the problem is, no freight. freight has be slow for awhile now, when i left the mainland in Feb 09, freight was slow, otr drivers are hurting right now, it might be time to make a career change, hell i deliver beer kegs 10 hrs aday, it's hard work, but i get paid by the hour, plus overtime and i'm home every night, i should have did this a long time ago. :biggrin_25525:

trust me it happens . wenger left my husband sitting for days . either at the yard w all the other drivers waiting for NO loads . or far away from home with no loads .
we lost our home do to this company . we went from having a life to having nothing .
his highest pay check was 500 . his normal pay was 100 $ a week . i put 2000 miles on my van going back and forth to get him from the yard because he couldnt bring the truck home . so yes wenger is a BAD company . they called me a ##### on the phone because i sked for his last pay check . which they decided to hold for no reason .
