Swift wallpaper
When I drove for the sorry outfit known as Swift, its terminals were covered with pictures of wrecked Swift trucks. I often thought that maybe Swift should just go ahead and turn those pictures into wallpaper. It'd be pretty cool wallpaper, too. No truck would be repeated on a wall the size of the green monster in Fenway, there'd be THAT many different trucks pictured.

Swift didn't get it then, and they still don't get it. Those pictures aren't helping drivers be safe. Instead of investing in picture frames, perhaps they should invest in better trainers, or at least require their trainers be actually qualified to train.

Raz I agree with you there P.A.M. (penny a mile) is a very bad company. As far as getting miles is concerned that is. Also getting your fleet manager to get you a load is like pulling teeth. In our driving experiences the best is Roehl the worst being PAM closely followed by JBH

I have not driven for JB,or any of the above,with the exception of Swift.So from experience I vote for Swift as the worst co.

On the Road2,Yeah thats about right.They dont want anyone around that knows what they are doing.It used to be Slow Wagon in Fast Traffic.or Sho Wish I had a Fast Truck.

So true.
So true. Dispatchers are liars at times, absolutely. I especially love those who engage in the "lie of omission", or leaving out critical information to get you to perform some task they wouldn't be able to convince you to do if they told you everything you need to know.

Another reason I liked Crete was because I never had this problem. If a run sucked, my dispatchers told me up front. They never tried to conceal things to sucker me into doing something that was "less than desirable". Swift recruiters, however, nearly always pulled the lie-of-omission trick.
