Forbidden 3 Warning beware of bolus transportation in scranton pa

this is definetly the worst company i have ever worked for , i was promised when hired to be making 32c when i stared, they started me at 28c per mile, the head of human resources is a guy name chris he promises everyone higher and then when you receive your check you see the truth, there is lots of drivers at bolus that been there for 2 -3 years and still are making 28c per mile, ohh almost forgot no pay for drop and hooks so you pretty much work there for nuttin, the equipment they have is pretty much all junk all 1999 0r 2001 mack with 900,000 plus miles on it, only 10$ per stop if live unload or load, stop pay after3 hours so if you there for 4 hours you get paid 10$, and always problems with paychecks horrible payroll staff problems every week, truckers beware of this company, you will work for nuttin

Their trucks must be put OOS more than other small carriers. Crappy equipment like that must get shut down twice as much as others, maybe more than twice as much. Has that been your experience with them? Did you get red-lighted a lot?

exactually i did not get red lighted, they are self insured so i heard of cases of drivers with dui and multiple accidents and other violations getting hired there because they are running out of people to hire

I guess they'll be unloading some of those guys now that CSA 2010 is front and center.

Got that right & their safety directors are jokes they run your ### all over knowing you go over your driving hours. They don't care dispatch wants to make the money. I can tell you the majority of the drivers should be off the road because if they were pulling random drug testing a lot of them would be fired! Did not get my mile pay or other perks they promise.

I have to laugh at exbolusworker's post on here. First of all, judging by your username, it seems to me that you have only worked for one company out of thousands. Second, you have no answer for years of driving experience. Just by that, I would say you had one bad experience with Bolus, and you have to spout off without getting a real taste of trucking.

I worked for Bolus for 2 years, and I would still be there today if it was not for my family needing me home. I worked for one other company in the past, owned my own truck for 16 years, and started with Bolus when I sold my truck. I was promised an amount much higher than you claim, and every week, I received that amount. Stop off and unload pay showed up as well. I drove a 2007 Mack Vision that was properly maintained and washed every other week at the truck wash. I hauled loads to Plattsburg, NY and that took me by the DOT in the rest areas at least 2 times a week. I was never put out of service or ticketed. In my opinion, Bolus was an excellent company to work for when it came to home time and pay. The dispatchers were all great to work with as was Chris.

It almost seems that you probably were dicking off at the truckstops rather than doing your job. I have seen your type come and go in the years that I have been out here, and there will always be plenty of drivers, both good and bad. If you don't like a company, fine. But before you go spreading lies and naming names, you should settle in with a company that suits you and your driving style. Believe me, there are plenty of them out there. Trucking is by no means an easy job, and you are going to have your good and bad days. Just as you will have good and bad companies, 99.9% of your success rate is your attitude. When things do not go your way, don't have a hissy fit and ##### and moan, but rather tough it out and get the job done. Believe me, favors DO NOT go un-noticed.

Bolus is worse than a bottom feeder, checks bounce, junk equipment, inexperinced drivers and the list goes on and on

Well, they say that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so I won't argue with any of your wild claims. I never had a check bounce, never been promised anything and then had them not deliver, or never been underpaid for anything I did.

I am definitely not Chris in safety, or any other poser. You are welcome to check out my gallery and many of you have probably seen my KW in the past going to New Jersey.

I understand that many drivers are not cut out for this line of work, and it is no fault of their own. Many trucking rookies are made to believe this is a great job, only to find out that there are no companies that will suit them. The years will go by, and the chronic complainers and crybabies will either quit all together or just keep moving from one company to another, always blaming somebody else. I have seen many drivers come and go, but it is rare for a driver to be honest with himself and admit that they just couldn't handle the rules and regulations that companies impose on them. Either that, or they are not clever enough to work around the regulations, and bend the rules a little bit to make it work for both sides.
