| Re: Wilson Trucking redvoodo.....Contact Roehl Transport. They have a terminal out of Ellenwood, Ga. Be up front with them about this and see if they can do anything for you in the way of hiring you. Good Luck and I would still pursue your rights against Wilson. |

| Re: Wilson Trucking Here is the number for Roehl: 1-800-467-6345. Ask for Deanne Carroll. She was the person who talked with my husband when he applied and she was very upfront and helpful. Good Luck. |

A company is not required to fire him by no one, a company may fire them if that is their policy. A company has that right to offer him or a company may choose for him to go to rehab counseling and after he finishes the rehab he may return to work if the company will let him and he will be required to take so many drug/alchol testing for a period of time. But the company must offer and give you names of rehab centers in your area, they are not required to pay for it or higher you back after you complete it. I know of two drivers that did this and they went thru the counseling and returned to work. That is a company that cares about their drivers. Sounds like there may be more to this mouthwash story. I can't believe he could not find a lawyer to take this. Melton Truck Lines, Tulsa, OK: I new a driver at this company and he was home taking his personnel days off after being out for one month. He had come home sick and ended up having the flu, on the day he was to return to work he was still very sick and was not going to go back until he was better. His Driver Manager called him at home and told him he was pulled for a random and had two hours to get to the clinic. He told him he was sick and not even going to return to work or leave the house until he was better. When he did return to work, he found out he had been fired for refusal to take a DOT Random Drug Screen and it is on his DAC. He cannot find a good job with a reputable carrier and is in the process of suing Melton. |
