No, I dont live anywhere near Dallas. I live in North Carolina.

You did not read or comprehend what I said. I did not say they would route you back to the home terminal for home time. That would be crazy. What I said was ... you can not take it to your house or leave it at a truck stop.

You can take it to a secure location close to your home. Most any Kenworth, Peterbilt or ThermoKing dealer will allow you to park in their secure lot for hometime. I park my truck at my local ThermoKing dealer.

Stevens has changed they now put you up at the Hilton in your own room. They get going at 10 am and they take the crew to eat for lunch at one of many resurants in the area. They finish up around 4:30 everyday and each day that you complete they give you 50. dollars for dinner. Bring you swim suit cause the Hilton has a nice pool and spa. Once you finish your training with your trainer they give you a brand new truck and your ste with long runs No short runs at steven's minimum run is 800 miles but most are 1400 miles or better. oh watch your speed most trucks can do 75mph easy. all trucks are equip with frige,cb,microwave, and a tv that is hooked up to satilite. If you have a computer they have internet for you in the truck. I hope this helps you as stevens has change alot from the old days.

No it really is not causing me any problems, I don't pay much attention to that stuff anyway until it effects me. I have far too many things to worry about in a day.

I make sure the tractor is safe, that I check every trailer I pull, I keep the fifth wheel properly greased and maintained. I don't drive like a bat out of hell and I keep myself in good shape.

I can't speak for other drivers, only myself.

Actually I read it for the most part, did miss a few things I guess. I never question what goes on at another drivers barn, don't like to ever put in my two cents unless I feel I need to.

My grand pop who was a old school JB Hunt Driver, rest his gear shifter in heaven, once told me "No man should ever question another mans business and when you put in your two cents, be prepared to get the same two cents back".

I am a old school type of dude and I conduct my driving business old school. I do what I need to do to keep doing it another day.

Hope I didn't offend you, cause you never know when we will be standing next to one another at a fuel stop.

not a strange policy, they want their equipment at a secure facility, when the driver is on time off. Many companies want it at their yard/terminal. Stevens has contracts with TK, Peterbilt, Kenworth for parking.

The Hilton? come on now? new truck for someone that just got a CDL license, that's almost as strange a statement as the one where some gal or guy said, just tell recruiting you can't go to Canada and they will look the other way.

If I were a newbie, I may fall prey to what you said, but since I know better, sorry good buddy, we ain't buying the TV set with the show Fantasy island playing, that your receiver said no dice to when you tried to deliver it.

    C-ya on the open road.
