    James Gath Trucking

Anyone know anything about James Gath Trucking in Standish MI? I worked for this place for 3 weeks and never was busy enough to even cover my weekly expertnesses. I got out of the military and this was the only place that I could get to talk to me with out having any recent experience. The thanks that Iraqi vets get. 3 yrs out of a truck and it's like you never have driven before!.

Yeah It's a shame the way they treat our Vets! You can thank the insurance companies for this and some of these megas for the "help" they'll give you called their driving schools and their school costs and the oh so wonderful way they get you to repay that debt you'll owe them for that training which you didn't need! You only needed a couple of DAYS to get the feel of the wheel back! The HOS and FMCSA hasn't changed that much to need "training" in those areas! Insurance companies a scum of the earth pock mark we have to endure!

If you can do NOT use your GI BILL for ANY training in trucking unless it's the business side and go for a BA in transportation. BUT do not waste the GI on driving! Go to the state and check with them on free schooling. Don't forget Mi has been hit badly in the employment side and there's not much freight out or into MI!

Yea I don't understand. These people have operated alot more equipment in the military than most any other person. If a non driving duration arises, they shouldn't have to go through all the schooling and stuff.
