JBS Carriers: Stay Away!

I just got a job offer from JBS, I would like to talk to you more about them. I like your attidude.

 

I see signs all over in Colorado for JBS. Then I go to companies that use them (or used to use them) or deal with their drivers and I'm reminded why I didn't like them from the start when people started talking about them.

 

they have their own plants but the loads i gotten are the short running loads with tight appointments..if outside carries haul them they'll pay more so we're doing them and along with outside short runs cause they pay more ..long hauls that pay less ??outside carriers starving for freight will haul them and for cheaper than the cost of jbs company drivers????when i came out of orintation the safety trainner said "all we ask is you give us time to know each other" yeah right more like alot of people are leaving quickly and they want our time to break even on recruiting cost...i'll be returning their truck to the terminal soon ...was outfitted cheaply also!!

 

Well I start orientation tomatoes I will keep you posted so far they have flown us in on a one day notice and motel not bad

You know what I think is Hilarious Not everyone will make it at JBS, or any company for that matter, it is not for everyone.
And Frankly some are happy some are not, not everyone is a fit. Nor is JBS the perfect fit for everyone.
Like ALL companies they have their issue's unlike most companies they are and Have continued to work on these issue's.
Oh And by the way JBS Carriers has only been around since July of 2008. July 7th I believe is the exact date. Just a 3 year old company so like all things new things change and crap happens, Some will make it, (drivers, office employees and Management alike) Some Wont.

 

Doc are you still with JBS?

 

WOW! I've never stayed longer than 10 days. I guess with 15 jobs in 10 years you really don't have much choice. OUCH!
